Course Description
CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) is an introduction to basic IT knowledge and abilities that assists professionals in determining whether or not a career in IT is suited for them. It also aids non-technical personnel in preparing for digital transformation.
The CompTIA ITF+ exam focuses on the essential IT skills and knowledge required to complete tasks that advanced end-users and entry-level IT professionals alike perform.
The CompTIA ITF+ exam tests your ability to recognize and explain the foundations of computers, IT infrastructure, application and software development, database principles, and security. The following abilities will be required of successful candidates:
Set up a Windows computer workstation and use fundamental software apps.
Recognize the many functions and types of devices found in a computer system.
Basic computer maintenance and support concepts should be applied.
Learn the fundamentals of software and database creation.
Set up computers and mobile devices to connect to wireless networks and the internet.
CompTIA IT Fundamentals FC0-U61:
The successful candidate will be able to identify and describe the fundamentals of computing, IT infrastructure, application and software, software development, database fundamentals, and security. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate their knowledge in the following areas:
- Install software
- Establish basic network connectivity
- Identify/prevent basic security risks
- Explain troubleshooting theory and preventative maintenance of devices
